BLADDER, BLADDER, What’s the Matter?
Do you have bladder leakage when you cough, laugh or sneeze? Do you know where every bathroom in St. Louis is? Do you have trouble making it to the bathroom in time? Does the thought of running or jumping scare you, because you fear that your will leak? Have you been told to do Kegel exercises, but you are not sure what they are or how to do them correctly? Maybe you have been doing Kegel exercises for years and they are not working?

This class will provide education on how to gain control over your bladder symptoms as well as teach you the proper moves to do to build and maintain strength for optimal pelvic floor health. Postpartum Recovery: Healing from the Inside Out
Postpartum is such a special time to bring so much kindness and respect to your body and what it has done. After giving birth, many women can feel at a loss for how to properly fuel and/or reconnect with their healing bodies. Registered Dietician, Shannon Buescher Hayes, and Pelvic Physical Therapist, Brooke Kalisiak, want to empower new moms to trust and listen to their amazing postpartum bodies.
This class is perfect for pregnant and postpartum women who want to learn strategies for fueling and recovery in postpartum period.

Dr. Brooke Kalisiak is a Board Certified Women’s Health Physical Therapist. She opened Legacy Physical Therapy in January 2009 in St. Louis, Missouri to offer specialized pelvic rehabilitation services to the public. She has a passion for helping women and men enjoy healthy active lifestyles, restoring dignity and confidence in bladder, bowel, pelvic and sexual function without relying on pain medicines or surgery. Her mission is to educate the public about the importance of pelvic health.
Shannon Buescher, MS, RDN, LD
Shannon is an Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist. She is passionate about helping those that have struggled with constant or yo-yo dieting, weight cycling, or disordered eating to rediscover trust with themselves again and find a healthy relationship with food.She offers one on one, in person or virtual sessions.
